Alyson is passionate about accompanying others with compassionate presence, gentle inquiry, and facilitating spiritual and emotional health individualized to each person. Alyson primarily serves as a chaplain in the Outpatient Perinatal Clinic. Trauma-informed care, palliative support, and an ongoing commitment to social justice particularly in the women’s healthcare setting are the cornerstones of her practice. Alyson completed her M. Div. at Wake Forest University School of Divinity. Her Clinical Pastoral Education was completed at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center finished with a Residency at Duke University Hospital.
