Debbie was born and raised in Indiana.  She is an ordained Presbyterian minister, serving almost exclusively in hospital chaplaincy and education.  She did her CPE residency in Charlotte, NC and became a Board Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains.  After several years as a staff chaplain, she did her ACPE Educator training in Indianapolis.  She has a passion for supporting those with mental illness and has been a chaplain and educator in behavioral health settings as well as medical centers.
