Donna began her journey at Duke as a student at the Divinity School in the fall of 2000. After graduating, she served as a licensed local pastor for a small United Methodist congregation before returning to Duke in 2006 as a Staff Assistant. Over her nearly 25-year career at Duke, she has worked in various capacities across the University, School of Medicine, and Health System.
Donna's role involves a wide range of administrative responsibilities. She manages the department budgets and assists with Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) administration, which includes coordinating onboarding for residents and interns. Additionally, she handles HR and payroll tasks, maintains employee files, and facilitates the onboarding and orientation process for new staff members. Her support extends to the Chaplain Services & Education team, where she assists with various tasks as needed, ensuring efficient operations within the department.
She resides in Roxboro, NC, with her husband, Conrad.
